Maldives: Dhigurah

Dhigurah — meaning “long island” — stretches across more than 3 km of white sand and untouched nature, making it one of the longest and most scenic islands in the Maldives. With its relaxed village atmosphere, friendly locals, and a bikini beach that seems to go on forever, Dhigurah is the perfect escape for travellers who want the Maldives’ beauty without the resort bubble.

We stayed at Bliss Hotel in November 2024 which is a lovely boutique hotel with a jacuzzi on the roof where you can watch the sun go down.  We first saw amazing manta rays here after booking a trip on a local boat through the hotel.
