Maldives: but if you want a bit of luxury too

then the Maldives is the place for that.  There's something for every budget, depending what that budget is.  We stayed at NOOE which is a quiet, small resort with overwater villas and beach bungalows for three nights for my special birthday.  The service was impeccable and the staff incredibly friendly.  It was beautiful.
